Oliver Twist Gin - London Gin WithTouch Of Class

By Stev Smith

Whilst on my last sojourn to Guernsey just lately I was fortunate enough to meet some people that were over there preparing for their launch of a new London Distilled Gin, whilst sat in the hotel bar. They were a good bunch of blokes and we ended up spending the majority of the night debating football and numerous other critical subjects.

During one of our talks they had reason to to tell me what they were doing over in Guernsey, and that was getting ready for the launch of their new business venture; the launch of Oliver Twist Gin.

Obviously when I was told this I was quite excited as I had never met anyone before that actually owned a gin, and being quite a fan of the odd gin and tonic at the end of a tough days slog. I though I may as well ask them if they had a sample with them that I could try.

Fortunately for me they actually did and went and got a bottle from their room that we sat down and polished off before long, and I should say it was such a refreshing gin with a subtle citrus flavor.

I'm certain you can imagine that a good night was had by all, although our meetings the morning after were not quite as productive as they might have been.

They were such a decent set of blokes we exchanged numbers and arranged to meet up next time we were all in Guernsey together. One of the fellows even left 2 bottles with the hotel reception in order that I could take some home for my spouse to try.

Needless to say she was delighted with the exclusive present that I brought her back from my trip to Guernsey, and we are both impatiently awaiting the launch so we can get some more of it.
